FRANKTON JUNCTION.

CHANGE OF NAME WANTED. SOLUTION NOT REACHED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The proposal to change the name of the Frankton Junction railway station was discussed by a deputation which waited on Mr. H. H. Sterling. General Manager of Railways, to-day. Representatives of the Borough Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the retailers' Association, and the Frankton Ratepayers' Association, urged that the name be*changed to Hamilton Junction. Mr. F. B. Jolly, and Mr. J. B. Harp spoke in opposition to the proposal. Mr. Sterling said that until an acceptable name was found for the Hamilton station, it was impossible to change the name of Frankton station. He said he would give the matter, consideration, and try to find a solution.
