CYCLE ROAD RACE.
PALMERSTQN TO WELLINGTON THIRTY-SIX STARTERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I>ALMERSTON NORTH, this day. Only four out of 40 entrants for the Palmerston North-Wellington cycle road race failed to face the starter this mornI ing. The limit men were sent away at 5.09 a.m. and the scratch meu at 10.10, the Mayor being the starter. The conditions, were good, and a fast race was expected.
