AUCKLAND CROQUET CLUB.
The Auckland Croquet Club held a successful stationary and progressive bridge party at J.C.L.'s rooms yesterday. Handsome prizes were won by Mrs. Stephen Hunter, Mrs. A. Hammond, Miss Connolly,. Mrs. Thornton. The president, Mrs. E. S. Stevenson, wore an ensemble of mushroom-toned faced cloth and georgette, with black panne hat. Miss Brown (secretary), wore a navy blue tailored suit, and blue liat to tone. Among the players were:—Mrs. A. S. Evans, Mrs. D. Clayton, Mrs. R. Bycroft, Miss Evans, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. A.
