Young Woman Killed In Home At Melbourne. MOTHER'S SAD DISCOVERY. MELBOURNE, September 10. Mystery surrounds the death of Miss Norma McLeod, aged 29, at her home in Toorak, a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne. The young woman had been left alone in the house. When her mother returned
she found her unconscious on a bed with a fractured skull. She died an hour later. The police think Miss McLeod was attacked by a hawker. The house had been robbed several times in recent months.
