Government To Abandon Regime Of Commissioners. REVERSION TO CITY COUNCIL. (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day; The practical abandonment of the Government's Greater Sydney scheme was decided on at a meeting of the combined National and Country parties. It was decided, therefore, to revert to the old form of City Council Government. The election of the council will probably be made in the middle of 1930.
