SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

To-day witnessed the successful inauguration of the Auckland Creditmen's I Club (incorporated), which is the direct result of a strong movement of the last few years in the direction of the control of credit. The club has been formed on democratic lines, being open to all whose duties lie in the giving of credit, and at its meetings addresses from leading men on subjects apposite to and in connection with the above subject will be delivered. Sound credit, underlying as it does the stability of all trade relations, is a most important and farreaching subject, and its discussion by those who are directly connected therewith cannot but be productive of good to the community. The business meeting was preceeded by a luncheon in Lewis Eady's Hall. In the absence of Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, I the vice-president elect, Mr. A. J. Hutj chison presided.
