FATAL WOUND.
DEATH OF YOUNG MAN,
Mr. Charles Spencer, a single man, who was taken to the Auckland Hospital 011 Sunday evening with a bullet wound in the temple, died yesterday afternoon. He was found at his home, 34, Haydn Street, «ity, with a small rifle beside him.
An inquest was held this afternoon by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Relatives in evidence said that last week deceased had been depressed and complained of feeling unwell. He also mentioned that ho had received several kicks on the head during the football season.
The coroner returned a verdict of suicide while deceased was evidently in a bad state of health.
