BOXING.

BERT BROWN RETURNING.

SUCCESSES ABROAD,

Following a very successful tour of Canada and the United States, Bert Brown, the New Zealand light-weight boxer, is returning by the Aorangi, which is due at Auckland on Sunday week. Brown, who is 25 years of age, is a son of Mr. H. Brown, of Hamilton. During his four years on the other side of the Pacific he had some 24 fights, winning, it is stated, all but two or three. These figures speak for themselves and Brown should prove a very good drawing card at any carnival in the Dominion. Already the Palmerston North Association has booked him for an engagement at an early date.
