DISTRICT APPOINTMENTS

CHAIRMEN AND SECRETARIES. METHODIST LISTS ANNOUNCED CONCLUSION OF CONFERENCE. District appointments and the ratification of the second draft of the Stationing Committee's list of stations occupied the attention of the Methodist Conference yesterday afternoon. I The appointment of the Rev. W. Walker, of the Dunedin Central Mission, to the position of senior minister on the Auckland Central circuit, was the chief alteration made in the stationing of ministers for the coming year. The Rev. Leonard B. Dalby, who has held the position of minister of the Pitt Street Church, is returning to England. The majority of the Southern delegates attending the conference left for their homes evening. morning a special service will be conducted in the Mount Albert Methodist Church by the president, the Rev. J. F. Goldie. A number of deaconesses will be ordained. In the afternoon there will be a Bible class rally in the Pitt Street Church, over which the Rev. E. P. Blainires will preside.
