FIRE IN COLLEGE.

ON WELLINGTON TERRACE. FOUR CLASSROOMS GUTTED. TWO OTHERS DAMAGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. Fire which broke out in Wellesley College, a two-storey wooden building in Wellington Terrace, early this morning, caused severe damag before it was suppressed. Four class rooms and four offices were practically gutted, and two remaining class rooms were affected by the heat and smoke. The building is owned by H. Amos, Ltd., and used as a day school. The insurances are: Building, £2800, in the Norwich Union, and contents, £750, in the Mercantile and General.
