ARNE BORG'S VISIT. CAMERON TO TRY HIS SPEED. The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association has decided to bring I. \V. Cameron, the Dominion sprint champion, from Wellington t<. Auckland to compete againet Arne Borg in the 100 yards invitation race on March 11. It is interesting to note that Cameron's New Zealand record of 55 4-">s is one second taster than the time registered by Borg when he last swam at Auckland, although it is known that the Swedish champion can do better than on his last local ;ipj>earance.

MISS STOCKLEY WINS AT WESTPORT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WESTPORT, Tuesday. Favoured by beautiful weather, the Westport Swimming Association heM a very successful carnival in the Municipal Baths this evening. The presence of Misses Ena Stockley, K. Miller and Hood added to the interest of the meeting. The lady champions, who have been here since Friday. have been the guests of the Swimming Association. They have attended part of each day at the baths in Westport and Denniston to instruct school children in the art of speedy and graceful swimming. To-night Miss Stockley competed in open events, and Miss Miller in one event, their competitors being male swimmers. Miss Stockley won the 100 yards open event and was third in the 33 1-3 yards open sprint Miss K. Miller, who. like Miss Stockley, was conceding good handicaps. Just faiied to qualify in the 100 yards. The takings amounted to over £56. many beinp unable to sain admittance. The visitors to-night were the guests of the Westport Swimming Association at supper.
