BARE LEGS.
I notice in your pages that bare legs are quite a novelty in the" streets of Auckland. This is not so in Tauranga. fcr a day or two ago I saw three or four ladies of mature age dressed for the street and in the main stmt quite devoid of stockings. The bare-legga! flapper has been a common sight for some tima, but among the grownups New Years Day «*• about the first time I noticed it, and before the end of the summer I lielieve the custom will be quite common. Had I shares in a stocking factory 1 would put them on tfct market without delay. OBSERVER, Tauranga.
