MR. F. ADEANE RESIGNS.

SUCCESSOR APPOINTED,

At a meeting of the Management Committee of the A.P.A. last night, Mr. A. Menzies presiding, the resignation of Mr. Frank Adeane, the association's secretary, was received. Mr. Adeane, it was stated, owing to pressure of business found the work of the association over heavy.

The resignation -was accepted, and Mr, S. R. Massam was appointed Mr. Adeane's successor.

Mr. Massam, who is an LL.B., and a partner in the firm of Crosby and Massam, barristers and solicitors, Home's Buildings, Vulcan Lane, is a Soccer player of many years' standing, and a most enthusiastic supporter of the code. He is at present a player in the Metropolitan Club's second grade team, and has been in the code since school' days.
