DIXIELAND.
Green palms and delicately shaded flowering plants gave a refreshing and cool touch to Dixieland on Saturday night, which cabaret, despite the warmth of the weather, was well attended. The large windows were thrown open and light sea breezes wafted in, bringing fresh vigour to the dancers. A number of charming frocks were worn. Amongst those present were: Mrs. C. J. Silver (Melbourne), who wore a frock of black georgette, beaded in silver; Mrs. W. H. Spiller, cyclamen pink georgette and lace; Mrs. D. Hunter, black taffeta, with floral pattern; Mrs. E. Chad wick (Wellington), old gold georgette and lace; Mrs, Gilfillan, saracen red statin and gold lace; Mrs. H. Chambers, jade green georgette, with petalled skirt; Miss Cherry Anderson, black lace frock with shoulder posy; Miss Joan Robertson, parchment georgette with crystal embroideries; Miss Norma McCulloch, leaf green taffeta; Miss L. Waller, palest pink georgette; Miss Vaile, larkspur blue satin, beaded; Miss J. Lawford, ivory georgette, beaded; Miss P.
