A garden party was thoroughly enjoyed at Mrs. S. Cowling's, Cambridge. The function was organised to assist with the funds of Peter's Church. The clock golf was won by Mrs. Andrews, crazy croquet by Mis? C. Couper. and the words competition by Miss D. Lang. Those present were: Mesdames B. Couper. Hart. Bellamy. Palmer, Pleseher, Wilkinson. Turney, Kelly. Bell, Plowden, Aspen. McYeagh, Davis. Rowland, Neeley. Misses McCarthy. Lang, McDonnell, Couper. Black, McDevitt. McGuire, R. McCarthy, Pleseher, S. Turner, Cossieboom, Jones. Swayne.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised in Bishopscourt Chapel by Bishop A. C. Cherrington. The bride was Ila Mav, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. .T. Troutbeck. of Claudelands, and the bridegroom was Dr. Arthur Lionel Lewis, of Rotorna. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ivory georgette frock and long embroidered tulle veil. The bridesmaids were Mioses Vera Troutbeck, Lily Storey, and Madge and Eleanor Troutbeck. They wore frocks of blue and apricot organdie, and headdresses of briar pink tulle. The best man was Mr. E. S- Troutbeck. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Centreway Tearooms, where Mrs. Troutbeck (mother of the bride) received the guests.
