COUNCIL MEETING. ' The monthly council meeting of the Auckland C.E. Union was held in the Beresford Street Hall on Tuesday, Mr. G. Deneem presiding over a good attendance of delegates. No lees than 27 Auckland societies were represented. The monthly reports were given by the delegates and superintendents. The chairman then welcomed to the meeting the new delegates, and also Mr. J. Bradford, a vice-president, who was present for the ' first time. i It was decided that the annual Comi munion service should be held as usual . in February. . A committee consisting of the union > executive and Misses McKenzie and Scott, ' and Mr. Mclndoe, was appointed to arrange a date and place for the annual , picnic. I
