PROVINCIAL NEWS.
TAURANGA. Rev. W. A. Holloway, of Taneatua, wan elected Moderator for the ensuing year by the Bay of Plenty Presbytery. In connection with the jubilee of St. Peter's Presbyterian Church a garden party was given by the Misses Maxwell and a social gathering was held in the church hall. Rev. R. Warnock presented Mr. Murdoch with a diploma from the Presbyterian General Assembly through its Youth of the Church Department. The diploma was given in recognition of 40 years' continuous work by Mr. Murdoch as teacher and superintendent of Sunday schools in Edendale, St. David's (Auckland), Waihl and Tauranga. ROTORUA. At a meeting of the Rotorua Agrlcnltural and Pastoral Association the resignation of the secretary was received with *?»*•*• The following executive was elected:—Messrs. R. G. Bennett, J.
