The Takapuna Jockey Club's spring meeting opened to-day at Devonport in unsettled weather, and will be concluded tomorrow. There is a fair attendance. The track is holding. The principal events to-day are the Alison Cup, Takapuna Plate and Cheltenham Handicap.
