MR. SAVAGE INCREASES LEAD.

MAJORITY OF 1341

The returning officer for Auckland West (Mr. T. M. Crawford) has announced the result of the official count in his electorate. It shows that Mr. M. J. Savage, the sitting member, and the deputy leader of the Labour party in Parliament, has increased his majority as a result of the counting of the absentee votes, by 197.
