MAJORITY OF 2426 IN EDEN.
ORIGINAL FIGURES INCREASED.
The final count aa announced by the returning officer (Mr. H. J. Copping) shows that Mr. A. J. Stallworthy, the United party candidate, has a majority of 2426, as compared with the total of 2370 which was given as hie majority after the preliminary count. The official 1 totals ate as follows: — A. J. Stallworthy <U.) 5943 V. H. Potter (G.) 3517 W. Tl Anderton (L.) 2241 O. E. Burton (OS.) 200 Majority, for Stallworthy . 2426 Absentee votes: Stallworthy 260, Potter 223, Anderton 112, Burton Iβ. Postal votes: Stallworthy 48, Potter 32, Anderton 10, Burton 1. Seamen's votes: Anderton 14, Stallworthy 11, Potter 0, Burton 2.
