CYCLING.
LYNNDALE AMATEUR CLUB,
The committee of the Lynudale Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, having secured the use of the New Lynn Football Association's ground for several years during the summer months, have decided that their inaugural athletic meeting and carnival be held on December 1. The events listed afford plenty of variety, and in the evening a concert and dance, at which the presentation of trophies will take place, will be held.
The following sub-committees, with power to add to their number, have been appointed : Advertising, Messrs. G. McWblrter and Cookson ; competitions. Rev. W. P. Rankin, M.A., Messrs. J. Crum, A. J. Pollock, G. McWhirter, P. Stubbing and B. Meese: schools, Messrs. H. A. Darrow and W. W. Edgerley; grounds, Messrs. A. J. Millar. G. Heron, J. Crum, W. Stewart sen., and G. Worms; concert, Messrs. J. Weir and A. Worms.
Further vice-presidents appointed were: Messrs. Kelshaw, J. W. Tait, P. Neville, C. H. Herdson, W. J. Parker, and F. Atkinson.
