SWIMMING.
THE AUCKLAND CENTRE.
CLUB CARNIVAL DATES. Members of the Auckland Swimming Centre met last evening, Mr. J. Enwright presiding. Permission was granted the Grammar Club to bold a carnival at the Tepid Baths on December 12 and the Parnell Club to hold club races and an lnterclub event on December 1.
An application for affiliation from the University Club was granted. A recommendation that in future flrstclass handicaps should be included on club programmes for carnivals was referred to the clubs for consideration.
It was decided in future to give certificates to place winners at the Auckland championships.
