ADDRESSES TO SETTLERS.
IX HAURAKI ELECTORATE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Thursday. The Prime Minister, accompanied by Mr. A. W. Hall, Beform candidate for Hauraki, to-day spoke »at Ngatea and Waitakaruru to large meetings of settlers and at the close of his addresses discussed politics and local questions with the elector's in informal fashion. At each meeting motions endorsing the Government's legislation and pledging those present to do all possible to secure Mr. Hall's return, were carried unanimously.
To-morrow evening Mr. Coates will speak at Tβ Awamutu and Cambridge and on Saturday he will proceed to New Plymouth.
