ARRESTED IN CHRISTCHURCH.
REMANDED TO AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. In Court to-day Robert Jackson was charged with the theft of 14 packets of cigarettes in Auckland on August 4. Chief Detective Carroll said that several other charges were pending against accused, and the Auckland police wanted him to appear up there. Accused was remanded to appear at Auckland on November 6.
