UNEMPLOYMENT.
Relief work provided at Western Springs has not contributed to decrease the unemployment situation in Auckland to any appreciable extent. There are still 798 men seeking engagement through the Labour Department's bureau. Of tma number 668 are suitable for heavy work and the remainder are fit far light labour.
