WAIUKU TOWN BOARD.
A special meeting of the above was held to further consider the granting of a right-of-way to Mr. A. Makgill through through part of the landing reserve, lb. A. Hanna, the board's solicitor was in attendance.
It was resolved that the board agrees to terminate the existing lease of part of the reserve at present held by Mr. MakgiO, subject to the board being indemnified against any loss through such surrender; and that Mr. Hanna be requested to prepare a draft lease for the term of 21 years with use of right-of-way and a right of renewal for a further term of 21 years, at a rental to be arranged, the width of the said right-of-way not to exceed 12ft: also that the matter of having the wharf road properly dedicated be left in Mr. Hanna's hands.
