The annual meeting of the Opaheke-Bombay-Karaka Ratepayers' Association was held at Bombay on Thursday evening, the president, Mr. R. Armiger, presiding. ~ _j. The chairman of the franklin County Council (Mr. J. N. Massey). and the chairman of the Franklin Power Board (Mr. J. Dean) were also present, and reviewed the activities of their respective bodies. The following officers • were elected;— President. Mr. R. Armiger; vice-presidents, Messrs. 6. Ingram, F. Lundon, and W. H. Waterhouse; joint secretaries, Messrs. V. C. Cooper and 8. D. Collins; treasurer, Mr. Cooper; auditor, Mr. N. J. Maxwell; executive, Messrs. J. Brooks, E. Feilding, H. Peoples (Drury representative), L. Leach, R. Johnson (Runciman), D. A. Bingley, A. C. Lambie (Opaheke), S." Dufty (Tuhemata). W. J. D. Sharp, W. J. Rutherford (Rama Rama), A. Maitland, H. J. Flay, J. B. McKinney: (Bombay). The Rasorback, Karaka, and Paparata representatives are to be ;choaen later by the executive. ■ - v"
