MR. W. H. MURRAY EXPLAINS.

"If I stop to speak r to a man in the street I am accused of associating with somebody," added Mr. Murray. A .Councillor:' Only one. (Laughter.) Mr. Murray: There are some I would refuse to associate with. (More laughter.)

Proceeding, Mr. Murray said that he was entitled to get information from any reliable source.

Mr. J. A. C. Allum said that the plant in question cost fIOO and was giving every satisfaction. The Tramways Committee was prepared to give Mr. Murray or any other councillor any information sought. The Mayor said that as the tramways department was prepared to give any information nothing further was necessary.
