PRICE OF CURIOSITY.
PARIS, August 17. Three spectators of the sensational duel between tlic police and an armed bandit were wounded. Two of them —Mme. Begaud and if. Vaulop—are in a serious condition. The bandit, who had killed the owner of a jeweller's shop, and barricaded himself in the shop, war. shot dead by -> policeman. He was an unemployed Russian, rained Kdounrd Psvck, who had lived for five years in France. He recently married a French woman named Yvonne, who is missing.
