SUCCESSFUL WINTER BALL.

Soft shaded lights, and quaint Oriental decorations, were used for the ball given at the Click Clack last evening. To the strains of the International orchestra, headed by Clyde Howley. the Yale Blues was danced. A feature of the evening were the cabaret items given by star pupils of Madam Baird. Punch and Judy show was danced artistically by Miss Mina Fuller. Miss Pelita did a surprise packet dance. A number of the artistes from "Sunny" joined the merry throng later in the evening. Among the guests were Mrs. Thorpe, in black crepe de chine; Mrs. Xeville. mauve crepe de chine, uneven hem of feathered chenille, diamante buckles; Mrs. Howley, black lace frock, geranium shawl: Mrs. Robinson. mauve georgette, embroidered in Oriental coloured beaded medallions;

Madam Baird, primrose georgette, shaded into jade green, with jewelled embroideries; Mrs. Da vies, apple green georgette; Mrs. 'Thomas, royal blue brocade and silver lace; Mrs. Winthrop, almond green taffeta; Mrs. Carter, claret ring velvet; Mrs. R. James, shaded mauve georgette; Miss M. Keast, long black lace pointed skirt, crepe de chine bodice and scarlet roses; Miss B. Brown, amethyst chenille brocade; Miss Bell, black taffeta and lace; Miss Johnstone, black taffeta and silver lace; Mrs. Oliver, flame chiffon and silver; Miss Jamieson, sea green taffeta; Miss Christian, rose georgette and diamante; Miss Warren, pale green sequinned georgette; Miss Pelita, opal shot taffeta; Mrs. Fuller, gold beaded georgette, black shawl; Miss Ball, pastel blue taffeta; Mrs. Hayward, mauve taffeta; Miss N.
