ST. GEORGE'S CHURCH.
The Rev. Morgan Richards presided over the annual meeting of members of St. George's Presbyterian Church, Takapuna. The session clerk, Mr. R. Johnstone, submitted the report, showing good progress made. Mr. Hanna, clerk of the manager's court, read a report which referred to the erection of the new Sunday School hall, installation of electric lighting, and repairs to the church building. The Women's Guild was complimented upon the financial assistance rendered a.s the result of its activities. The attendance at the Sunday School was stated to have been a record one. ( The officers of the manager's court were re-elected, and three further nominations were submitted, one manager retiring. Various speakers eulogised the work of Mr. Richards, and the congregation placed on record their high appreciation of his and Mrs. Richards' devoted labours in the district. A pleasing feature of the meeting was a short discourse bv the Rev. Ivo Bertram, M.A., who had' charge of the district when Takapuna was an outstation of Devonport.
