BELGIUM'S NATIONAL DAY.
To-day is Belgium's national day, that is, the anniversary of the proclamation of national independence in 1831. The Belgian flag was flying at the Consulate, and the Consul, Mr. A. M. Ferguson, received visits from most of the members of the Consular Corps.
