TRANSPORT REPORT.
MR. COATES RETICENT. PUBLICATION BELATED. LEGISLATION TO BE CONSIDERED. (By Telegraph—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Prime Minister, when interviewed th|3 afternoon, after a Cabinet meeting, said that before the Auckland Transport Commission's report was made available, the consequential legislation would liave to be carefully considered. The report would not be tabled for a few days vet. Mr. Coates declined to answer the direct question whether legislation affecting transport conditions would be brought down this session, but said he was fully alive to the urgency of the matter, as far as Auckland was concerned.
