MINOR ACCIDENTS.
MISHAP ON STEAMER. While stepping to avoid a motor car in Queen Street about 5 o'clock last evening, Miss J. Robinson, who is employed as a cleaner at Knox Home, Panmure, strained her right ankle. She was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital for examination. A cut to the head was received early last evening by Mr. C. McLean, a married man, aged 38, who resides at No. 14, Ruskin Street, Parnell, while working in the hold of the steamer Kartigi at the Prince's wharf. Mr. McLean slipped on a sack and was thrown, hitting his head against the side of the hold. He was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where several stitches were inserted.
