ELECTION CANDIDATES.
REFORMERS IN HAURAKI. MR. E. L. WALTON TO ENTER BALLOT. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Friday. A deputation representing all parts of the Hauraki electorate waited upon Mr. Ernest L. Walton, chairman of the Hauraki Plains County Council, last evening, and requested that he should stand as the Reform candidate. Mr. Walton acceded to the request, and agreed to submit his name to a ballot for the official Reform imprimatur, with two other Reformers, Mr. Arthur Hall, of Papatoetoe, and Mr. S. House, of Mangere, who, it is understood, will agree to a ballot.
