FIRE AT WINIATA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Friday. A five-roomed house at Winiata, occupied by Mr. G. Parker, was burnt to the ground on Thursday morning. The fire was <iiscovered at 5.30 a.m. by Mr. Parker, who imm iliately roused his wife and four children, who barely had time to snatch a few clothes and personal effects before leaving the blazing building. The furniture was insured for £150, but there was no insurance on the house.
