ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
SCHOOLBOY PLAYERS. AUSTRALIAN TOUR UNLIKELY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The secretary to the New Zealand Football Association has circularised all affiliated associations as follows: "Cable advice has been received from Australia to the effect that owing to the financial position of various States it is extremely doubtful whether a New Zealand schoolboys' team can be accepted this season." The cable also states that a definite decision will be given this week.
