GRANT HOPED FOR. DEPUTATION TO BOARD. "A total of 23,000 signatures have been secured towards a petition, and we are hopeful that during the present session of Parliament a grant will be made so that the initial work of making borings of the harbour bed can ceed," said Mr. A.
