RACING ON LABOUR DAY.
THE WAIKATO FIXTURE. COMMITTEE RECOMMEND HUNTi CLUB. \ (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The question of the Labour Day date (October 22) for which both the Waikato Hunt Club and the Waikato Racing Club have applied, was considered by the Dates Committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference yesterday. It was decided to recommend that the Hunt Club be granted this date for this year only. The Waikato Racing Club has been recommended for Saturday and Wednesday, October 20 and 24. These recommendations will be submitted to the Racing Conference at Christchurch on Friday.
