FIREMAN INJURED.
CUTS FROM BROKEN GLASS. Samuel Wells, a fireman on the steamer Tasmania, which is at the Prince's wharf, fell on the deck last evening and received two deep gashes in the left thigh from the broken glass of a bottle. He was treated at the Auckland Hospital, where he was taken by the St. John Ambulance, which brought him back to his ship.
