CITY ACCIDENTS.
PEDESTRIANS IN HOSPITAL.
While working in the Town Hall in connection with the Auckland Advertising Exhibition, last evening, Mr. William Alfred Outtrim, a packer, swallowed some tacks which he was holding in his mouth* Mr. Outtrim was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and although his condition is not at present critical, it is possible that it may become serious. Mr. Outtrim lives at 2, Coombsdale Road, Remuera.
Mr. Albert Butler, who lives at 25, Ireland Street, Ponsonby, was knocked down by a motor car while crossing Karangahape Road last evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital with abrasions and shock, but his condition is not aerious.
No improvement is reported in the condition of Mr. Cecil Webster, of Karaka Street, Devonport, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Sunday morning with severe injuries to the head as the result cf a fall from a motor cycle. Mr. Webster has not yet regained consciousness, and his condition is regarded as serious.
Thefe is a slight improvement in the condition of Mrs. Nellie Parish, of 69, Grange Road, Mount Eden, who received serious injuries when she was knocked down by a cyclist on Saturday.
