RIFLE SHOOTING.
AKARANA CLUB.
Members of the above club fired the third series of the final trophy shoot at Penrose rifle range for trophies presented by Mr. T. Elliott, sen., Mr. D. Calder, and Mr. J. B. Draffin. A strong wind, with passing Showers was unfavourable for good shooting. The three top men in each section take 3, 2 and 1 point respectively. Silver spoons were won by Mr. D. Calder and C. Marett.
