The Benfch, in giving a decision, commented on the conflicting evidence, and held that a tacit agreement existed between Leaf and the defendant Carter, and that Carter was liaible. Judgment was given against Carter for the full amount claimed, with costs £10 11/6. The case against Watson was dismissed.
