The municipal market, inaugurated bv the Labour majority on the Citv Council has shown a profit of £50 19/3 since it was opened for business on December 19 up to March 31. The rent paid to the electricity department for the section during this period was £140 2/. Previously the section was lying idle. The capita! expenditure has been £455 3/0 Receipts totalled £288 10/, and expenditure £237 10/9 during the period under review.
