YACHTING.
LONG DISTANCE RACE AT EASTER. Only one entry, Wairijci, has been received for the race from Auckland to Mercury Bay, starting next Thursduy evening. If two other entries are not received this evening the race is off. For the race from Auckland to Coromandel, starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, the following boats have entered tip to noon to-day: Wairere, Winifred, Venus, Maroro, Mawhiti, Maratea, Maranui' Magic, Wild Wave and Louisa. Further entries will be received up till noon tomorrow.
