THE PUPBKE CLUB. At the opening of the Pnpnke Golf Club mixed founomet were played. The winners were Mrs. Craven and f. H. Mingay, who retorted a card of 58 net. The next best net cards were: Parker and E. B. Grimwade, s®: Mr*. P. Foot and B. Goldwater, s&|; Miss Dunnett and I. G. Mackenile, 64. /Mr. B. Hunt, a new member of the''club, was snccessful In Holding the short 15th hole in one. Mr. Hunt's handicap is' 24. HAMILTON COMPETITION. A medal handicap played on the Bt. Andrew's links at. Hamilton resulted In a win for G. Hovey (handicap 24), with a gross score of 92. Other cards were:— J. P. Strang, 87—16—71: W. J. King, 98—20—78; E. Wilson, 89 —16—78; H. Elby. 06—22 —74: N.
