RECORDS RECOGNISED. AUSTRALIAN CYCLISTS' TOUR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was held this evening. The expenses ,of the tour by Gray and Standen, the champion Australian cyclists, amounted to £100. payment of which is to be distributed as follows: Wellington £43 10/, Wanganui and Taranaki £29, Canterbury £14 10/, Otago. £14 10/, New Zealand Association £14 10/. The "following Australian and New Zealand records were allowed and passed: Running high jump, E. M. Davidson, 6ft 2Jin ; one mile medley, J. Martin, W. Hunt, A. Walker, J. Carlton, time 3.35 3-5; decathlon, Eino Keskinen. 6433.78 points. Permission was received from the Amateur Athletic Association of Australia and New Zealand for New Zealand to become a separate association.

The possibility of a visit from Lowe and Lord Burghley, of England, is still in the air.

All New Zealand teams will in future be selected by two delegates appointed by the New Zealand council, one delegate from each island.

T. Oakley's cycling performance at Masterton in covering 3 miles in 7.13 was accepted as a New Zealand record.
