SHEEP DOG TRIALS.
THE MOAWHANGO RESULTS. (From Oar Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Friday. The third day of the Moawhango Sheep Dog Trial Club's annual gathering was completed to-day under favourable condl tions. Two cups were won outright, namely, the lluntaway Cup, which was won by p. IS'orrls, having been successful for the third time, while the Morrison Memorial Cup was annexed by Mr. T. Sullivan, who also won the Teams Cup with the most aggregate points. Mr. W. S. Glenn, was present in an official capacity, and Mr. S. King acted as judge.
Results of the meeting are as follow:— Class 1 (head pull and drive, about 600 yards; time allowed, 21m). —T. Sullivan's Pinch, 42 points, 1 ; H. Harris' Brigadier Bill, 40, 2; H. Harris' General Haig and M. Scott's Scotty, 27, dead-heat, 3. Class 2 (herding, bringing back and yarding; time allowed, 21m). —H. Aslie's Trim, 44 points, 1 ; O. Sherhan's Jet, 43. 2; T. Sullivan's Pinch, 42, 3; H. Harris' General Haig, 41. 4.
Class 3 (buntaway).—P. Norris' Tip, 41 points, 1; T. Sullivan's Raffety, 3if, 2; H. Harris' Bruce, 34, 3; Alex. Wilson s Ring, 281, 4.
