The Manawatu cricket team continued Uieir second match in defence of the Hawke Cup yesterday afternoon against Southern Hawke's Bay. Manawatu had made 277 for eight wickets when stumps were drawn, and thus had a lead over the challengers of 190 runs.
SCHOOL BOYS MATCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. The cricket match between Chrlstchurch and Waitaki High Schools concluded yesterday. Chrlstchurch won by an innings and 27 runs.
