PRINCE SOMERSAULTS.
Mishap When Leading In Steeplechase. HORSE SLITHEBED AT BROOK. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 21 Riding in the Guards point-to-point steeplechase at Riselev, the Prince of Wales led to the seventh obstacle, which was a wide brook. His horse slithered on the far side and the reins broke. The Prince somersaulted and landed on his feet, still holding the reins and unhurt. He managed to scramble from the way of other competitors. — (A. and N.Z. and Sydney "Sun.")
